Credit Financial Invest has secured a new partnership deal with the Jordan Football Association. CFI has become the exclusive brokerage partner for the governing body of football matches across Jordan through this deal.
CFI becomes the official broker for Jordan FA
Brokerage companies have been promoting sports sponsorship deals to expand their presence globally. These companies leverage the fanbase to boost their reach and grow customer numbers. In recent years, many brokerage companies have secured strategic deals with sports teams, clubs, and leagues.
The Founder and Managing Director of CFI Financial Group, Hisham Mansour, confirmed this development through a post on LinkedIn. The CFI Founder noted that the online trading provider would support all the top leagues under the Jordan FA under this partnership deal.
Some of the top leagues that would be supported under this partnership deal include the Men’s and Women’s National Football Teams. This deal will see the Jordan FA, the premier knockout tournament in men’s football, renamed the CFI Jordan Cup.
This partnership deal comes a few months after the CFI, which has a massive presence in the Middle East, secured a deal to sponsor the Mubadala World Tennis Championship held between December 16 and 18 last year. The championship happened in Abu Dhabi, allowing the company to boost brand awareness in the Middle East.
The Mubadala World Tennis Championship has a large fanbase in the Middle East, and it exhibits men’s and women’s singles. This sport has been taking place in Abu Dhabi since 2009, hence the solid community and companies’ interest in advertising their brands during the event.
CFI is investing in sports sponsorships
As aforementioned, brokerage companies have been pursuing sponsorship deals in the sports industry. In recent months, the CFI has secured other deals in the sports industry. These deals have grown its presence in the sports industry.
In December last year, the company’s CEO, Nidal Abdelhadi, commented on the development, saying that the broker would support the National Basketball Team in Jordan. The company was also involved in multiple partnerships in the racing industry in Lebanon. These partnerships show that CFI is paying close attention to the Middle East market.
In April last year, the CFI appointed Josep ‘Pep’ Guardiola as the Global Brand Ambassador at the company. Guardiola is a professional football manager and has made a successful career as the current coach of the English Premier League club, Manchester City.
The expansion of CFI in the sports industry comes as the business provided by the brokerage company remains solid. The CFI Group operates regulated subsidiaries across top cities such as Amman, Beirut, Larnaca, London, and Port Louis.
The company reported a growth rate of 94% in trading volumes in the first three quarters of 2022. In recent months, multiple forex and contracts-for-difference (CFD) brokerage companies such as Saxo Bank and RoboMarkets have secured multiple sports deals.
