Gold testing the $1,780 – $1,800 area

Gold prices have reached the $1,780 – $1,800 area or the bullish correction target. The price will wait for reactions from the area. A bearish rejection from the area will confirm a bearish continuation. On the other hand, a close above $1,800 will open the upward path toward the daily SMA 200.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Silver prices have made a close above the $20.00 handle and maintain the positions above it. However, there is no bullish continuation yet above the level. On the upside, $21.35 is the bullish target of the current upward movement. On the other hand, a close below $20.00 might trigger another bearish continuation toward the $18.50 support level.

Today’s Critical levels to watch:

Support: $20.00, $18.50, $16.00

Resistance: $21.35, $23.00, $23.90

Crude oil closed below $95.25

Crude oil prices finally made a close below the $95.25 support level. The situation is bearish for the price and a continuation toward $90.00 also $85.00 might happen. If the price could climb and make a close above $106.00 then the trend will turn bullish again. Traders might want to observe the weekly closing level to determine the next direction.

Today’s critical level to watch:
