Daily Oil, Gold, Silver Technical Analysis | August 18, 2025

Gold sideways to bearish

Gold prices look to continue under bearish pressure since the previous Monday bearish close. The price could not lift and stay below the candlestick low. If the bearish pressure continues, then there is a chance of another test on the green box area. No change to the outlook yet, traders could continue to use the box area as a place to add long positions. On the upside, we will eventually see a new record high.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

FBS The Best Forex Broker

Support: $3,350, $3,250, $3,200, $3,150

Resistance: $3,400, $3,500

Silver sideways

Silver prices mostly higher but no bullish continuation seen yet. The price crawl slowly to the upside but no new higher swing high. If the price turn lower again from the current level, then there is chance of bearish continuation to target $35.25. As long as the $35.25 level hold-out, we maintain bullish outlook on the price.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: $35.25

Resistance: $38.80, $40.00

Crude oil consolidation

No bearish continuation yet in crude oil prices. It is currently consolidating below the green box area and might attempt to retest $65.00 level. Under current situation, we continue to maintain bearish view on the price. But, a close above $65.00 or the green box area might alter our view. On the lower side, $60.00 is the target to watch.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: $60.00, $52.4

Resistance: $65.00, $67.20, $70.00, $77.13
