Gold further gain above $1,700

The Fed interest-rate decision seems providing gold with bullish pressure. The price extend its gain above the previous day high and currently traded near the previous week high. A breakout above the weekly high will trigger further upside toward $1,780.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: $1,680, $1,650

Resistance: $1,700, $1,750, $1780

Silver bullish close above $17.73

Silver prices made bullish close in the previous trading day, outside of the $17.50 – $17.73 range. The price expected to extend its gain and target $18.50 resistance level. At the current time, silver is testing the $17.73 level. Traders could consider to enter long positions with a stop below $16.80.

Today Critical levels to watch:

Support: $17.73, $17.50, $17.00, $16.80

Resistance: $18.00, $18.50

Crude oil hanging near $38.50

Crude oil shows initial bearish reaction from the $38.50 level. However, the price not moving down and continue to stick near the resistance level. It seems the price might attempt to build bullish pressure and target the level above $40.00. Traders might want to avoid short positions for now.

If the price move lower toward $30.00 – $33.00 then traders could consider long positions.
