Gold waiting for a further trigger

There is no indication of gold next movement yet at the current time. Gold prices settled inside the Monday range yesterday. It means the price is in a neutral state and waiting for further development. If gold moves lower then traders will observe the $1,680 – $1,700 area. If gold could extend its bullish movement above the previous week high then it is expected to target $1,780.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: $1,700, $1,680, $1,650

Resistance: $1,750, $1780

Silver consolidating between $16.80 – $17.73

The price managed to maintain its position above the $16.80 support level. Silver attempted to move higher but the price continues limited below $17.50 – $17.73 area. At the current time, traders will wait for breakout confirmation either above $17.73 or below $16.80.

Today Critical levels to watch:

Support: $17.00, $16.80

Resistance: $17.50, $17.73, $18.00, $18.50

Crude oil testing the $38.50 resistance level

Crude oil prices rejected from the $38.50 resistance level and closed lower. The price pressured further lower but could not reach $30.00 – $33.00 area. At the current time, crude oil prices have returned near the $38.50 resistance. Traders will wait for a further reaction from the level. If the price continue higher then traders will watch the gap level around $40.00.

Support: $33.00, $30.00

Resistance:  $40.00
