Gold trading inside $1,680 – $1,700

The price of gold managed to maintain its positions above $1,680 and currently challenging $1,700 resistance. Initially, the price could climb above $1,700 but at the end of the day, we have the price close near $1,700. No breakout happened yet and gold might consolidate inside $1,680 – $1,700 for now.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: $1,680, $1,650, $1,600

Resistance: $1,700

Silver bearish close

We have a bearish close at silver prices yesterday but it is not a major bearish close. At the current time, silver prices still trading inside the previous day range. Will the price continue moving lower below the previous day range and target the $14.40 support level? Alternatively, will it move higher and retest $15.00 – $15.20 resistance area?

Today Critical levels to watch:

Support: $14.40

Resistance: $15.00, $15.20, $15.60

Crude oil extend bullish movement above $20.00

Crude oil prices move below the bullish channel and seem will start a new bearish leg. However, the bull decides to bring the price further higher above $20.00 by the end of the day. This month, crude oil prices expected to continue its upward movement as OPEC implemented production cut.

On the upside, $22.00 and $25.00 will become the resistance to watch. If the price move lower then traders could use $20.00 as the support level to enter long positions.

Support: $20.00, $18.00, $16.00

Resistance: $22.00, $25.00
