Gold rejection from $1,780 – $1,800

Gold prices got rejected from the $1,780 – $1,800 area and the daily SMA 200. We might see the price start a new bearish leg toward $1,680 – $1,700 area. Traders who want to enter short positions could enter speculative short near the current level with a stop above the previous week’s high.

Silver claimed the close inside yellow box area

Silver prices made a close inside the yellow box area last week. The price might continue upward and test the top of the box area. If a close above the box area happens then silver prices could continue upward and target the $25.00 – $26.00 area. On the other hand, a close below the area will trigger bearish continuation.

Support: $23.00, $21.35, $20.00

Resistance: $23.90, $25.00, $26.00

Crude oil closed near the $82.72 resistance level

The bullish pressure on crude oil prices is expected to continue for the medium-long term. This week, the price will continue testing the $82.72 resistance level and look for a breakout above it. Traders will expect continuation toward the $90.00 level or even $100.00 in the medium-long term.
