Gold maintains the positions near $1,900

This week has been a flat week for gold as the price moving up and down near $1,900. Yesterday the price closed near $1,900 and might close the week near it. Traders who have long positions could continue to hold the positions with a stop below $1,900. Meanwhile, a close below $1,900 might become the indication that the precious metal will start another bearish leg toward the $1,850, and $1,780 – $1,800 area.
