Gold jumped on North Korea Nuclear test

The price of gold might not see a top soon as tension increased after North Korea executes a nuclear test. There is source saying the rogue country might be close to launching another ICBM. The price of gold reached $1,339 before pulling back lower to $1,333; it moves past $1,337 which is Nov’16 high.

If the price could hold upward momentum above Nov’16 high, gold will ready for another bullish push.

Today critical level to watch:

Support: $1,300, $1,280, $1,258, $1,250, $1,244

Resistance: $1337

Silver confirm upside

The price of silver move past $17.73 resistance level the first time since previous April drop below it. The momentum is good, and a close above $17.73 will confirm the path toward $18.50. Traders could look for long position near $17.73 with a stop below $17.24.

Today critical level to watch:

Support: $17.73, $17.50, $17.00, $16.80

Resistance: $18.00, $18.50

Crude oil up, but stay below trendline

Crude oil prices got a boost before August month closed. The price bounced near $45.30 and formed a bullish engulfing pattern. Although it looks bullish, the price could not break and close above the bullish pattern which tells a consolidation period. Currently, will the bear hold off the bullish momentum and reverse it near the trend line?

Support: $47.00, $46.50, $45.30, $45.00

Resistance: $47.31, $48.00
