Euro is rising for the first time in 3 days ahead of the Junker Trump meeting

Euro rose on Wednesday against a basket of world currencies in the first three-day gain against the US dollar, ahead of a meeting in the White House that brings together European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and US President Donald Trump. To resolve the recent trade disputes between the European Union and the United States.

The talks came after the United States imposed additional tariffs on steel and aluminum goods from Europe and threatened Donald Trump with more tariffs on EU-made vehicles.

Investors are also waiting for important data on confidence in the business climate in Germany, the euro zone’s largest economy, to be released by 08:00 GMT. The IFO Institute for Business Climate Survey in Germany in July forecast 101.6 points from 101.8 in June.
