Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | April 15, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY pushed lower last week but started this week with bullish pressure. It almost erased all of the losses but might not close outside of Friday’s range. Traders will continue to monitor the pair reactions for now whether it will continue the bearish correction or extend the bullish movement. If the pair could continue lower and reach the cluster of Fibonacci Retracement level then traders could use the chance to enter long positions. On the upside, 165.814 and 167.143 will become the targets to watch.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 163.00, 162.00, 160.00

Resistance: 165.81, 167.14

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP bearish rejection means the consolidation inside the green box area will continue. Traders will continue to use the green box area as a place to enter ranging positions. As long as there is no breakout and close outside of the area, the consolidation will continue. Despite the situation, there are bullish signals as the pair breaks above trendline and the pair is printing a higher low. Will the pair break out upward and continue the bullish movement?

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY made a bearish close at the end of the week which has moderate momentum. However, there is no bearish continuation this week and the pair has reclaimed most of the losses. Will the pair extend the bullish movement and print a new higher high on the chart? Alternatively, will it turn lower and reach the 188.50 support level to test it?

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 188.50, 186.00, 184.00, 182.45, 178.50

Resistance: 190.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF finally made a bearish breakout from the trendline which means a bearish correction is due. The pair could target the 1.1200 – 1.1225 level where traders will wait for bullish reactions. When the pair produces bullish reactions and bounces with strong bullish reactions then traders could enter long positions. The overall medium-long term trend is bullish which means traders better avoid shorting the pair as it could continue upward without a support test too.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1200, 1.1100

Resistance: 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
