Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | August 28, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY slightly lower each day but no lower low printed on the chart yet. The pair might continue trading sideways near the Fibonacci Retracement levels and traders will continue to observe the pair movement. In the long term, we think the pair will resume the bearish trend and target a new lower swing low on the chart.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 160.00, 155.00, 154.00

Resistance: 163.00, 165.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP has not shown any major bullish reactions. The pair has reached the level near 0.8400 today and it shows a bullish recovery. We might get a bullish pin bar close on the chart but it might be a profit-taking reaction only. Unless the price stabilizes near 0.8400, the bearish movement will continue and break below the support level. On the upside, 0.8500 – 0.8530 is the resistance area to watch when a bullish correction happens.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8500, 0.8530, 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY is sideways near the Fibonacci Retracement level. The pair has no major movement, and traders will continue assuming the price will trade sideways. Will the pair get rejected with strong bearish reactions and resume the bearish trend? Alternatively, will the pair break above the Retracement levels and move upward again?

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 180.00, 178.70

Resistance: 190.00, 193.50

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF is under moderate bearish pressure today as it left the 1.1200 – 1.1225 area. However, the pair has not broken below the 1.1000 support level yet. If the pair could maintain the positions above 1.1000, we might see a continuation of sideways movement. We still think the pair will resume the bearish trend and target a new lower swing low on the daily chart.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1000, 1.0800, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.1200, 1.1225
