Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | February 06, 2023

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY opened higher this week and printed a new higher high. However, the upward movement seems losing pressure. If the pair start moving lower again then we might see a retest on the 140.50 support level. If the pair could continue the bullish movement then we might see it targeting 148.50 – 151.50 area again.

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP closed inside the 0.8920 – 0.9000 area and might consolidate inside the area. As mentioned in the previous analysis, if the pair could make a close above 0.9000 then the trend will continue bullish. GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY bounced from the 156.58 support level and currently moving upward to test the bearish candlestick high. Will the pair continue moving upward and print a new higher high? Alternatively, will it reverse the direction again and make a close below 156.58 to confirm a bearish continuation to target 153.50 and lower?

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 156.58, 153.50

Resistance: 161.00, 164.00, 168.50, 170.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF pushed lower below the 1.1200 support level. Fortunately, there is no lower low printed on the chart which means there is a chance of ranging movement and bullish reversal. Traders will wait for further reaction near the 1.1200 level. If the pair print a new lower low and bearish close then it is time to close all long positions.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1200, 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
