Forex Technical Cross Pairs analysis February 24, 2020

EUR/JPY

There is more upside for the pair EUR/JPY toward 121.50. However, the worsening situation on coronavirus at the end of the week caused the pair to open lower today. No bearish confirmation yet at the current time. EUR/JPY attempting to move higher and return to its upward course. We think the pair will trade between 120.00 – 121.50 for now.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 120.30, 120.00, 119.20

Resistance: 121.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP consolidates inside 0.8325 – 0.8400 and looking for a breakout from the range. At the current time, there is more bullish pressure and the pair soon will test the top of the range. Will the pair make an upside breakout and start a new bullish leg?

Support: 0.8325, 0.8120

Resistance: 0.8400, 0.8500, 0.8600

GBP/JPY

The pair almost reached 145.00 resistance last week. This week, the bullish pressure recedes and the pair start making a bearish correction. If the pair continues moving lower then it might target 142.50 support level. It seems the chance for bullish continuation is thin as coronavirus continues spread across the world.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 142.50, 141.00, 140.00

Resistance: 144.33, 145.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF returns inside 1.2500 – 1.2700 range and currently under pressure. The pair might move lower and target 1.2500. Traders will wait for further reaction near the 1.2700 for now. It is also possible the pair could climb, make a close above 1.2700 and continue its bullish movement toward 1.2900.

Support: 1.2500, 1.2300

Resistance: 1.2700, 1.2900, 1.3000
