EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY broke above the blue box area and closed above it at the end of the year. It seems the bullish trend is set to continue and the pair will target 131.50 – 132.00 area. However, the pair is under pressure at the current time and falls below the blue box area. If the pair continues lower then a consolidation inside the box will happen.

Traders will continue to add long positions when the support level is tested as the long-term trend is bullish.

Support: 128.00, 127.00

Resistance: 130.00, 131.50, 132.00, 133.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP failed to maintain the breakout above the bearish trendline. The pair continue under pressure and formed another lower low on the chart. The bearish trend is set to continue as long as the pair stays below the trendline and prints another lower low. At the current time, it is better to avoid long positions and wait for a bullish bounce to enter short positions.

Support: 0.8500, 0.8400

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY resume the bullish movement above the 153.50 level and soon will reach the 156.58 resistance level. No change to the bullish situation and traders will add more long positions on a pullback. At the current time, traders will avoid short positions and wait near 153.50 for a chance to enter more long positions.

Support: 153.50, 150.00, 149.20

Resistance: 156.58, 160.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF managed to close above 1.2300 but the pair have not continued the bullish movement. At the current time, the pair is consolidating near the level, waiting for further reaction. If the pair could bounce from the level then a bullish continuation toward 1.2500 will happen. On the other hand, a close below 1.2300 might trigger bearish continuation.

Resistance: 1.2500, 1.2600, 1.2700
