Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 12, 2026

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY continues to trade higher after forming a bullish engulfing pattern last Friday, highlighting renewed buying interest. Price is now advancing toward the previous swing high, where momentum may begin to slow or transition into consolidation. A decisive move above the prior swing high would open the way toward the 127.2% Fibonacci extension at 185.48. Failure to break higher may result in a short-term range trade before the next directional attempt.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 182.583, 182.00, 180.54, 180.00

Resistance: 183.40, 185.84

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP remains under bearish pressure, though price action is largely flat for now, reflecting a consolidation phase rather than aggressive selling. The lack of upside follow-through suggests sellers continue to dominate the broader structure. The preferred scenario remains a continuation lower, with downside focus toward the 0.8580–0.8600 area. Any short-term rebounds are viewed as corrective unless the pair can regain key resistance.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750, 0.8800, 0.8850, 0.8920

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY continues to trade firmly higher, extending the bullish move from recent sessions. Price action remains constructive, and momentum favors further upside. The pair is now advancing toward 214.96 as the upside target level. A sustained move through these areas would reinforce bullish continuation. On the downside, a pullback toward 211.56 would be viewed as corrective, with a deeper retracement toward 208.60 weakening the bullish structure.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 211.50, 210.00, 208.00, 207.00

Resistance: 214.965

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF is trading sideways, consolidating after the recent upward movement. Price action lacks strong momentum in either direction, suggesting a pause rather than a reversal. The broader outlook remains bullish, and the current consolidation is viewed as a base-building phase. On the upside, 1.0800 continue to become the resistance level to watch as target.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0660, 1.0600, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.0800, 1.1000, 1.1200
