Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 15, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY turned bullish again in today’s trading session and is set to test the previous week’s high. The pair might extend the bullish movement and cancel the bearish outlook. However, if the pair start moving lower again with massive bearish momentum then traders will expect another retest on the 154.00 – 155.00 area.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 155.00, 154.00, 151.50, 148.50

Resistance: 160.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP sticks near the bottom of the triangle while showing bullish reactions. However, there is no major bullish bounce from the bottom of the triangle which means the bear still has the upper hand. Traders will expect the pair to continue to consolidate inside the triangle area. The next long-term direction will be determined by the breakout direction.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580, 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY copied the movement that happened in EUR/JPY and set to test the previous week’s high. The pair might extend the bullish movement to target a new higher high. There is no lower swing low in the latest bearish attempt. On the lower side, the pair will need to close below 178.50 to confirm a bearish continuation. On the upside, a new higher high will cancel the bearish outlook.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 182.45, 178.50

Resistance: 184.00, 186.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF slowly moving upward and continuing the bullish correction. There is no major bearish reactions yet which means there is a chance for upward movement to target 1.1000. Traders will wait near the resistance level for bearish reactions. When there is a major bearish reaction, traders could enter short positions targeting a new lower low.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1060, 1.1100, 1.1200, 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
