Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 19, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY continues the bullish movement with a new higher high. No stop to the bullish trend yet for now and traders better continue waiting. However, the pair is trading near the previous neckline of a double top. If the pair make a strong bearish reversal then we might see a new bearish leg targeting 154.00 – 155.00.

Resistance: 160.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP broke below the triangle pattern which confirms the bearish continuation. However, the pair immediately returned near the broken trendline today with similar momentum. Will the pair continue moving upward and return inside the triangle pattern? Alternatively, will it get rejected and resume the bearish movement following the breakout direction?

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY extends the bullish movement and seems testing the previous swing high. The situation of the pair might continue bullish for the long-term as there is no lower swing low printed in the previous bearish attempt. However, the pair might reverse sharply from the current level too and resume the bearish movement. At the current time, it is better to stay sideline.

Support: 182.45, 178.50

Resistance: 184.00, 186.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF climbed and closed above the 1.1000 resistance level yesterday. The pair has not shown any bearish sign even though it has reached the resistance target. On the upside, a close above 1.1200 will cancel the current bearish outlook.

Resistance: 1.1060, 1.1100, 1.1200, 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
