Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 20, 2025

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY is trading lower and will target the 154.00 – 155.00 support area. At the current time, the pair looks trading between two trendlines. Traders will assume the pair will continue bouncing between the two trendlines until a breakout happens. When breakout and close outside of the trendline area happen, traders will get confirmation on the next direction.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 160.00, 155.00, 154.00

Resistance: 163.00, 165.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP bounced from the 0.8400 level again and is now set to continue the bullish movement to target 0.8500. As mentioned before, traders will continue to use 0.8400 as a support level and place to add long positions. As long as the support level holds out and the pair forms a new higher swing high, the upward movement will continue.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325, 0.8250

Resistance: 0.8500, 0.8530, 0.8580, 0.8600

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY moving lower and will target the 188.00 support level. The pair is near the bottom range which might result in a bounce from the support level. If the pair could bounce upward then there is a chance of bullish movement to target the 198.00 level again. At the current time, traders could use the support level as a place to add long positions.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 190.00, 188.00

Resistance: 193.50, 195.00, 198.00, 200.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF is stuck near the bottom of the green box area. The pair continues to maintain its position and bounce from the 1.1100 support level. If the pair could move upward with strong momentum then it will target the top of the range. No change yet to the ranging situation of the pair. As long as the pair stay inside the range then traders could continue to apply range trading strategies.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1000, 1.0800, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.1200, 1.1225, 1.1360, 1.1400
