Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 25, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY upward movement is halted for now near the bearish trendline. The pair might trade sideway for now while waiting for reactions. Will the pair continue the bullish movement, breakout from the trendline, and print a new higher swing high? Alternatively, will it turn lower again and retest the 154.00 – 155.00 support area?

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 155.00, 154.00, 151.50, 148.50

Resistance: 160.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP pushed lower yesterday and printed a new lower low on the daily chart. However, the pair managed to recover part of the losses and close near the opening level. At the current time, the pair continues moving inside yesterday’s range with a bullish attempt. We think the bearish trend will continue but prepare for a retest on the 0.8580 – 0.8600 too.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8600, 0.8580, 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY stick near the previous swing high and continue trading sideways for now. The pair situation is bullish but traders will anticipate bearish reactions too near the current level. Will the pair breakout and print a new higher swing high to continue the bullish trend? Alternatively, will it move lower again and start a bearish trend?

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 182.45, 178.50

Resistance: 184.00, 186.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF closed below the 1.1000 support level and might confirm the continuation of a bearish trend. However, the pair made a recovery movement today and retesting the 1.1000 level. We still think the pair could continue the bearish trend and suggest traders set a stop level above 1.1200. As long as there is no higher high printed on the chart, the trend will continue bearish.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1060, 1.1100, 1.1200, 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
