Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 26, 2023

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY continues to stick near the trendline this week. The pair’s next direction will depend on the breakout direction. Traders better await for a breakout and close outside of the range to confirm where the pair will move next. On the upside, 148.50 will become the long-term target to watch. On the lower side, 134.50 – 135.00 is the area to watch as a bearish target.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 140.50, 137.40, 135.00

Resistance: 145.00, 148.50, 151.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP losing bullish pressure and start moving lower. The pair might retest the 0.8750 support level again. As long as there is no breakout and a close below 0.8750 then there is a chance of bullish reversal and continuation toward 0.8900 and 0.9000. Traders will prepare to enter long positions near the 0.8750 support level when there is a bullish reaction.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8750, 0.8700, 0.8600, 0.8580

Resistance: 0.8900, 0.9000

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY maintains the position above the 160.00 level. The pair seems will attempt to resume the upward movement to target the 164.00 level. Traders will monitor closely the pair reaction near the current level for now. If the pair make a bearish movement and print a new lower low then traders will prepare for a bearish continuation toward the 150.00 support level.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 156.58, 153.50

Resistance: 161.00, 164.00, 168.50, 170.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF hanging at the middle of 1.1200 – 1.1600. The pair might continue trading sideway near the current level while waiting for the next direction confirmation. On the upside, a close above 1.1600 will confirm a long-term bullish continuation. On the lower side, a close below 1.1200 and a new lower low will confirm a new bearish trend.

Support: 1.1200, 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
