Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 28, 2021

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY avoided bearish close yesterday after moderate bearish pressure. The pair currently moving upward and seems will be able to continue toward the 127.00 resistance level. Traders who entered long positions near 125.00 could continue holding the position now. Short positions could be taken near 127.00 if there is a major bearish reaction from the resistance level.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 125.00, 123.30

Resistance: 127.00, 128.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP lose more ground yesterday but the pair closed the day near its opening level at the end of the day. It seems the pair reverse the direction and currently attempt to climb back toward 0.8920. We still think the pair will continue its bearish movement and target 0.8750 in the medium-long-term.

However, if the pair closes above 0.8920 then traders will scale out of short positions.

Support: 0.8860

Resistance: 0.8920, 0.9000

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY traded higher but could not close above 142.50 resistance level. The pair slightly lower but continue trading inside the previous day range. There is no rejection yet from the 142.50 which means a breakout still possible. As long as there is no major bearish reversal then traders might want to avoid short positions.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 140.00, 137.75

Resistance: 142.50, 145.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF stick near the top trendline after the bullish breakout. It seems the pair lose bullish momentum and currently under pressure. Will the pair reverse its direction and continue upward to target 1.2300? Alternatively, will it turn lower and continue the consolidation inside the triangle pattern?

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.2000, 1.1870, 1.1750, 1.1600

Resistance: 1.2200, 1.2300
