Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | January 31, 2022

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY started the week with an upward movement. The pair mostly sideways last week and might continue the consolidation this week. On the upside, the pair needs to close above the boxes area to continue the bullish trend. Meanwhile, the pair has 128.00 and 127.00 as support levels where traders could enter long positions.

Today critical levels to watch:

Support: 128.00, 127.00

Resistance: 130.00, 131.50, 132.00, 133.50

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP pressured lower below the 0.8325 support level and set to resume the long-term bearish trend. Similar to the previous analysis, as long as the pair continue printing lower high and lower low then there is no reason to become bullish yet. On the upside, 0.8400 and the trendline are the levels to watch for short positions.

Resistance: 0.8400, 0.8500

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY managed to bounce from the 153.50 support level and now attempting to continue the bullish movement. The pair need to print a higher swing high and close above 156.58 to continue the bullish trend. No conclusion yet at the current time on where the pair will move next. Traders will use 153.50 – 156.58 as levels to enter ranging positions with a bullish bias.

Today Critical level to watch:

Support: 153.50, 150.00, 149.20

Resistance: 156.58, 160.00

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF breakout above the 1.2500 resistance level and set to continue the bullish movement. This is not out of expectation as the pair has formed a higher swing high and higher swing low. If the pair could continue moving upward and print another higher swing high then the pair is set to reverse the trend entirely from bearish to bullish.

Support: 1.2300, 1.2000

Resistance: 1.2500, 1.2600, 1.2700
