Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | July 09, 2024

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY trading sideways while maintaining the positions near the latest high. The pair might extend the bullish movement to target the 176.669 level. If the pair start a bearish correction then traders could use the 171.51 level as a support level to add more long positions. On the lower side, the pair will need to print a new lower swing low to turn the trend into bearish.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 171.51, 170.00

Resistance: 176.66

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP pushed lower and might continue the bearish movement toward the 0.8400 support level. The pair is moving upward today but limited inside the Monday’s range. If the pair manage to move lower and close below 0.8400 then the bearish trend will continue. On the upside, a close above 0.8530 will cancel the current bearish outlook and turn the trend bullish.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8500, 0.8530, 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY holding out near the high and there is no major movement in the pair yet. It seems the pair could continue the bullish movement to target the 208.86 level. Similar to the EUR/JPY situation, if the pair starts a bearish correction then traders will use the chance to enter long positions at support levels. On the lower side, 200.50 and 200.00 are the support levels to watch.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 200.50, 200.00, 198.00, 193.50, 190.00

Resistance: 208.86

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF printed a bullish close yesterday near the top of the green box area. No major breakout from the range yet as the pair is currently under bearish pressure. The consolidation near the area will continue for now and traders will wait for a close outside of the area. When the close outside the area happen, traders will get confirmation on where the pair will move next.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1225, 1.1200

Resistance: 1.1360, 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
