Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | July 14, 2023

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY bounced from the 154.00 – 155.00 area with moderate bullish momentum. The pair might resume the bullish trend and print a new higher high on the chart. If the pair continues moving lower then traders could wait near the 148.50 – 151.50 area for a chance to add more long positions. We think the trend will continue bullish and it is better to avoid shorting the pair.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 154.00, 151.50, 148.50

Resistance: 155.00, 160.00, 162.87, 171.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP return near the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area and might keep testing it. If the pair breakout upside and close above 0.8600 then the trend might turn bullish. Meanwhile, traders will wait for bearish reactions to enter short positions. As long as the pair continue printing a new lower low and lower high then the trend will continue bearish.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY turned upside before the pair could reach the 178.50 support level. It seems the bullish trend will continue and the pair will attempt to print a higher high. With no change to the strategy, traders will wait for the pair to make a bearish correction toward the support level for a chance to enter more long positions. On the lower side, 178.50 is the support level to watch.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 178.50, 172.00, 170.00, 168.50

Resistance: 182.45

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF attempted to reverse the bearish pressure and trade upward for two days. The pair is not far from the 1.1200 support level and might move lower to test it. Traders could wait near the support level for bullish reactions to enter long positions. We think the pair could continue the bullish movement and target the 1.1530 – 1.1600 area in the medium-long term.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.1200, 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
