Forex Technical Cross Pairs Analysis | July 19, 2023

EUR/JPY

EUR/JPY bounce from the 154.00 – 155.00 area gain more bullish pressure today. However, the upward movement lost ground and the pair traded back near the opening level. We think the pair could continue the bullish trend and continue printing new higher highs also higher lows. Traders will continue to use each bearish correction as a chance to enter more long positions.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 155.00, 154.00, 151.50, 148.50

Resistance: 160.00, 162.87, 171.00

EUR/GBP

EUR/GBP surpasses the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area and prints a new higher high which means the trend has turned bullish again. If the pair moves lower then the 0.8580 – 0.8600 area will become a support area to watch for bounce. Traders will start accumulating long positions when the pair turn lower and manage to print a new higher low.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 0.8400, 0.8325

Resistance: 0.8580, 0.8600, 0.8700, 0.8750

GBP/JPY

GBP/JPY is ranging between the 178.50 – 182.45 area right now and might move lower to test the bottom of the range. Traders will wait for the pair to make breakout and close outside of the range to confirm the next direction. We think the pair has more upside to target a new higher high. On the lower side, 172.00 might become the bearish target to watch when a bearish breakout happens.

Today’s Critical level to watch:

Support: 178.50, 172.00, 170.00, 168.50

Resistance: 182.45

GBP/CHF

GBP/CHF continues the bearish movement below 1.1200 also the trendline and prints a new lower low. The pair seems to have returned to the bearish trend and no stop to the bearish pressure yet. Traders will stay at the sideline for now and observe the pair movement. When the pair start moving upward again then there might be a chance to enter short positions near the resistance level.

Support: 1.1200, 1.0500, 1.0000

Resistance: 1.1530, 1.1600, 1.1750
