USDX (USD Index)

The U.S. dollar index continues its flat movement near the daily SMA 200 point and has not seen a significant reaction. Still the same as before, traders seem to prefer to wait for data releases and also the Fed meeting to get an idea of ​​the direction of the next movement.

EUR/USD

EUR/USD ranges between the daily SMA 200 and the 1.0800 point. The pair will continue its consolidation movement near this area and traders will continue to accumulate with a stop point below the previous swing low point. The long-term trend is still bullish so traders should still avoid short positions.

Support: 1.0800, 1.0650, 1.0500

Resistance: 1.0900, 1.1000, 1.1120, 1.1185, 1.1300, 1.1360

GBP/USD

GBP/USD has not left the 1.2625 – 1.2800 area so far so traders can only wait for movement out of the area to confirm the direction of the pair’s next movement. For now, traders can wait or do range trading until the pair leaves the area.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 1.2625, 1.2200, 1.2100, 1.2000

Resistance: 1.2800, 1.3000

USD/JPY

USD/JPY maintained its position above 147.00 and is now seen continuing its consolidation above it. The pair will still move sideways for now and traders can only wait for further reactions to confirm the direction of the next movement.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: 145.00, 142.00, 141.00

Resistance: 147.00, 150.00

AUD/USD

AUD/USD is sticking near the daily SMA 200 point, the same situation as the dollar index and EUR/USD. In terms of trend, the pair is still in a bullish trend so a long position is recommended. However, if the pair still moves down sharply and then forms a lower swing low point then the situation can become bearish.

Support: 0.6500, 0.6350, 0.6170, 0.6000

Resistance: 0.6700, 0.6750, 0.6820, 0.7000
