Usually, the money market is a reflection of the updates of the countries. Now, here, the update from Japan gives the GBP/JPY currency pair a rise.

The Merchandise Trade Balance of Japan was reported today, with a decreased value of -635.53 in August compared to the prior month’s index of 439.4 B.

An indicator of the balance between imports and export is the Merchandise Trade Balance. A positive value indicates a trade surplus, while a trade deficit shows a negative value. Japan depends so much on exports that the Japanese economy relies heavily on a trade surplus. The domestic economy is thus affected by any variation in the figures.

There is also a favorable update from the United Kingdom that is going to release soon with the appreciated indexes;

There is about retail sales, which, according to analysts, would increase from -2.4 percent to 0.8 percent in August compared to the month before the index.

Conclusion

The decision at this point becomes a bit difficult for the short position holders, as the GBP/JPY currency pair market is in a state of rising and falling instability.
