GBP/USD Pulls Back Off Weekly Highs After BoE Rate Decision

The GBP/USD currency pair on Thursday puled back off the current weekly highs of about 1.3928 to trade at around 1.3850 following the latest round of data. The pair continues to trade within a sideways channel formation in the 60-min chart.

It is now pinned just above the confluence of the 100-hour and the 200-hour SMA lines. Thursday’s late pullback prevented the currency pair from crossing to the overbought levels of the 14-hour RSI. It has now moved back centrally in the normal trading zone.
