The HBAR Foundation has announced the launch of Asset Tokenization Studio, a new toolkit designed to simplify the process of tokenizing Real-World Assets (RWAs) on the Hedera Network. This announcement was made through the HBAR Foundation official X account.

New Hedera Studio Ensures On-Chain Management for Tokenized Assets
The Hedera Asset Tokenization Studio is an open-source digital solution for creating, issuing, and managing tokenized bonds and equities. In contrast to the existing solutions that imply the management of details about assets in off-chain manner, the Hedera Studio guarantees the max on-chain approach. It offers a complete package of elements such as, bond coupons, and stock dividends. It also helps to ensure that asset management adheres to jurisdictional requirements.
This launching program organized by The HBAR Foundation as well as Hashgraph, RedSwan, and ioBuilders is to optimize the tokenization procedure for finance and enterprise emitters. With the help of the toolkit that is available on the toolkit for both testing and development, technical and regulatory issues can be solved while using the opportunities of the Hedera network’s safety and stability.
Dr. Sabrina Tachdjian, currently employed as the Head of Fintech and Payments at the HBAR Foundation emphasized that the Asset Tokenization Studio is intended to reduce technical impediments and improve compliance in the tokenization of bonds and equities. These integrated toolkits are intended to catalyze Hedera’s RWA ecosystem and enable the transition of capital markets on-chain. Tachdjian noted that the initial release is just the beginning, with plans to expand features, asset classes, and jurisdictional support based on user demand.
Hedera Asset Tokenization Studio Provides Open-Source Compliance Tools
The studio offers two main tools: a WebUI for testing purposes and a TypeScript SDK for deployment. Both of them are open-source and will be released to GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license. The SDK has provisions of minting, transferring, redemption and supports MetaMask and Hedera WalletConnect for sign offs.
Edward Nwokedi from RedSwan also appreciated the toolkit for dealing with imperfections in other standards such as ERC-1400 saying that it is very easy to use and focuses on compliance. Carlos Matilla, the CEO of ioBuilders, pointed out that the Asset Tokenization Studio offers a lot of material to help with the management of digital assets in a regulated context, which can be useful for asset managers, issuers, and regulators.
