Third quarter revenue for Financial Services increased 10 percent, to $490 million, and included 8 percent total organic growth. Third quarter Adjusted EBITDA for Financial Services increased 7 percent, to $241 million. Third quarter revenue for Transportation increased 16 percent, to $347 million, and included 15 percent total organic growth. Third quarter Adjusted EBITDA for Transportation increased 9 percent, to $167 million. Third quarter revenue for Resources remained flat at $208 million, with a 1 percent total organic decline. Third quarter Adjusted EBITDA for Resources decreased 3 percent, to $84 million. Third quarter revenue for CMS increased 12 percent, to $136 million, and included 11 percent total organic growth. Third quarter Adjusted EBITDA for CMS increased 21 percent, to $38 million. Overall for the third quarter of 2021, the company has reported Net income of $161 million, Adjusted EBITDA of $516 million and generated cash flow from operations of $421 million and free cash flow of $344 million.

INFO in the third quarter of FY 21 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of 85 cents, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of 83 cents, according to Zacks Investment Research. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 10.3 percent to $1.18 billion in the third quarter of FY 21, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $1.17 billion.
On the other hand, S&P Global and IHS Markit has recently announced an agreement to sell IHS Markit’s Oil Price Information Services (OPIS); Coal, Metals and Mining; and PetroChem Wire businesses to News Corp in a cash transaction valued at approximately $1.150 billion. The sale is expected to be completed at the close of the merger between S&P Global and IHS Markit. The agreement marks the culmination of S&P Global and IHS Markit’s previously announced decision to explore a divestiture of these businesses and represents an important milestone on the path to regulatory approval for the merger between S&P Global and IHS Markit. Both the merger and the divestiture remain subject to further review and approval by regulators and antitrust authorities. S&P Global and IHS Markit continue to expect to close the proposed merger in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to the satisfaction of specified closing conditions.
