Jabil Inc (NYSE:JBL) Raises FY25 Outlook

Jabil Inc (NYSE:JBL), a global leader in engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions, stock rose 3.81% (As on June 18, 11:33:09 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company reported Q3 diluted core earnings and revenue ahead of analysts’ consensus expectations and raised its fiscal 2025 outlook. The company intends to invest approximately $500 million over the next several years to expand its footprint in the Southeast United States to support cloud and AI data center infrastructure customers. This significant commitment will enable new large-scale manufacturing capabilities, capital investments, and workforce development. Jabil is in the final stages of site selection and expects it to be operational by mid-calendar year 2026. This strategic investment builds on Jabil’s recent acquisition of New Hampshire-based Mikros Technologies, a leading provider of liquid cooling and thermal management solutions.

Moreover, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AVL Software and Functions GmbH, the e-drive and software center of AVL List GmbH. The collaboration combines AVL’s expertise in product design, software, simulation, and testing with Jabil’s decades of experience in value engineering, advanced IATF-certified manufacturing, and strategic global supply chain solutions.

JBL in the third quarter of FY25 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $2.55, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of $2.31, according to analysts surveyed by FactSet. The company had reported the adjusted revenue of $7.83 billion in the third quarter of FY25, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $7.06 billion. The company attributed its strong performance to outperformance in key end-markets like cloud, data center infrastructure, and capital equipment. However, Jabil noted softness in areas such as electric vehicles, renewables, and 5G.

The company now expects fiscal 2025 core EPS of $9.33, compared with the previous outlook of $8.95. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $8.96. Jabil also expects fiscal 2025 net revenue of $29 billion, up from a prior outlook of $27.90 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $27.97 billion. The company aims to generate over $1.2 billion in adjusted free cash flow for the full year. The new U.S. manufacturing site, expected to be operational by mid-2026, underscores Jabil’s commitment to expanding its capabilities.

For fiscal Q4, the company projects core EPS in the range of $2.64 to $3.04 on revenue of $7.10 billion and $7.80 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect non-GAAP EPS $2.74 on revenue of $7.19 billion.
