Kazakhstan Conducts Mutual OSCE-UNODC Training on Crypto

The Transnational Threats Department of OSCE has made exclusive development. It has collaborated with the Astana-based OSCE Programme Office and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). With this partnership, the organization conducted a training court concerning the Darknet and crypto-related investigations. The respective investigations are carried out by the Law Enforcement Academy which operates under Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor General’s Office.

OSCE disclosed the respective move on its official website. As per the organization, it conducted the respective training course between the 19th and the 23rd of June this year. The participants of the course included twenty representatives of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs. The other members took into account the Karaganda and Almaty Academies of the internal affairs ministry.

Eshimov also stated that the country has been placed at a significant position among the top jurisdictions supporting Bitcoin mining.
