KKR & Co Inc (NYSE:KKR) AUM Rises

KKR & Co Inc (NYSE:KKR) stock rose 3.51% (As on February 6, 11:37:20 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company’s assets under management (AUM) rises, but misses earning expectations for the fourth quarter of FY25. Net income attributable to the company (GAAP basis) was $1.11 billion compared with the net income of $1.12 billion in the year-ago quarter. For 2025, net income per share of $5.05 missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $5.39. The bottom line increased from $4.70 in the previous year. Net income attributable to the company (GAAP basis) was $3.08 billion compared with the net income of $2.25 billion in the previous year. As of Dec. 31, 2025, total AUM grew 16.6% year over year to $743.9 billion. Fee-paying AUM summed $604.1 billion, which increased 18% from the year-ago quarter.

Meanwhile, the company has announced the establishment of a new strategic partnership under which KKR-managed funds will invest up to $603 million into HMC’s Energy Transition Platform (the “Platform”). The investment will introduce KKR as a strategic partner alongside HMC in the Platform’s existing 652MW operational assets and its 5.7GW BESS and wind development pipeline. KKR’s investment will support the Platform’s continued expansion, including the development of new battery storage and wind projects critical to grid reliability and Australia’s energy transition. Additionally, the company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Arctos Partners (“Arctos”), a premier institutional investor in professional sports franchise stakes and a leader in asset management solutions for sponsors. The transaction is valued at $1.4 billion in initial consideration, including equity subject to vesting through 2033, plus up to an additional $550 million in future equity tied to both KKR share price and business specific performance targets and vesting through 2031. The acquisition advances KKR’s strategy to scale its platform by building and acquiring complementary businesses in large addressable markets where KKR has the ability to be a leader.

KKR in the fourth quarter of FY25 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $1.12, missing the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of $1.16, according to the Zacks Consensus Estimate. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 13.7  percent to $1.43 billion in the fourth quarter of FY25, missing the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $1.44 billion. Total operating earnings grew 17% year over year to $1.3 billion. The company posted fee-related earnings of $1 billion, up 15% year over year.
