It took to X and revealed that its latest version called “Klaytn v1.11.0” has been released by the platform. In addition to this, the firm also provided more details regarding the respective development. In its recent tweets, the company stated that the development involves the execution of a hard fork upgrade.

The platform added that the new upgrade will provide several optimizations and exclusive APIs. Apart from that, it also elaborated on the additional provisions enabled by the upgrade. In this respect, the platform pointed out that the respective hard fork upgrade paved the way for backward-incompatible modifications.

Additionally, the platform disclosed that the hard fork implements features analogous to the Shanghai hard fork of Ethereum. After that, the platform also discussed the features of the hard fork upgrade. One such feature is the adjusted gas charges of the opcode of COINBASE in line with EIP-3651.
