A bad boss uses shouting habit to intimidate others, particularly the down line. He may scare them, but in a long run, such a boss will never win over their trusts, hearts, and mind.

It is true that a leader should make sure that the employees keep in line. However, shouting will never inspire them. Instead, a boss who often shouts will never gain trust from his employees. A boss with this leadership style will never be able to build a solid team in the organization. Shouting is not a way to empower the employees. Instead, it derail the employees’ confidence and creativity.

How you communicate differentiates you from any other individuals. Therefore, if you have a boss that often shouts, you may have to think again. You can hardly see a successful team in the organization. In the end, the organization will suffer and your financial life will suffer too.

Lack of Understanding

Whatever your position in the organization, you should have a complete understanding about your business. Instead of understanding only your specialty, you should understand the entire business. For instance, a boss who has a culinary business have to understand not only the food ingredients, but also the technology that supports the business, the suppliers, the main segments of customers, the raw material supplies, and many more.

Even though there are experts in the company, a boss has to have innate understanding of those aspects. This way, he can make sure that every plan is on the right path. So, make sure to see whether your boss really understands the business or not. If he does, you can see that he can really do your job.

A good leader should be able to perform the team’s tasks.  He may not be an expert in everything. However, he should at least have basic understanding of what the employees are doing every day. A leader who does not understand the entire business will blame others easily for any mistake or when nothing goes on the planned way. If you see that your boss has such a character, think again.
