Mongodb Inc (NASDAQ:MDB) Raises FY26 Guidance

Mongodb Inc (NASDAQ:MDB) stock rallies 32.62% (As on August 27, 11:24:33 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company raises its full-year guidance for the second time this year after its second-quarter sales crushed Wall Street’s expectations. The company trimmed its net loss to $47 million in the quarter, down from a loss of $54.5 million in the year-ago period. Subscription revenue was $572.4 million, an increase of 23% year-over-year, and services revenue was $19.0 million, an increase of 33% year-over-year. Non-GAAP gross profit was $436.4 million, representing a 74% non-GAAP gross margin, compared to a non-GAAP gross margin of 75% in the year-ago period. Non-GAAP income from operations was $86.8 million, compared to non-GAAP income from operations of $52.5 million in the year-ago period. As of July 31, 2025, MongoDB had $2.3 billion in cash, cash equivalents, short-term investments and restricted cash. During the three months ended July 31, 2025, MongoDB generated $72.1 million of cash from operations, compared to a use of $1.4 million of cash from operations in the year-ago period. MongoDB used $0.5 million of cash in capital expenditures and used $1.7 million of cash in principal payments of finance leases, leading to free cash flow of $69.9 million, compared to negative free cash flow of $4.0 million in the year-ago period.

MDB in the second quarter of FY26 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $1, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of 66 cents. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 24 percent to $591.4 million in the second quarter of FY26, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $478.1 million.

Meanwhile, MongoDB unveiled a range of product innovations and AI partner ecosystem expansions. This includes the launch of several new Voyage AI models— including voyage-context-3 and rerank-2.5—the expansion of MongoDB’s partnerships with major AI providers including LangChain, and the addition of new members to MongoDB’s AI partner ecosystem including Temporal and Galileo.

The company said it’s now looking for full-year revenue of between $2.34 billion and $2.36 billion, up from an earlier range of $2.25 billion to $2.29 billion. In addition, the company raised its annual earnings forecast. Now it’s looking for a profit per share of between $3.64 and $3.73, up from its prior range of $2.94 to $3.12.

This is the second time MongoDB has raised its full-year guidance, after a similar revision three months earlier. Wall Street is eyeing total revenue of around $2.29 billion, and earnings of $3.11 per share.
