NZD/USD Rises on Better-Than-Expected GDP

The New Zealand dollar received a green candle tag on the graph today, trading at 0.5797 against the US dollar. And it has recovered from a precipitous plunge in recent days. This rise, however, will not be enough to compensate for the previous days’ decline.

Nonetheless, this increase highlights the belief that the pair’s price will overcome the challenges of adverse circumstances and resolve them over time.

The NZD/USD currency pair was suffering from a terrible period a month before. Fortunately, it somehow stabilized itself through fighting against the circumstances, and now it’s going toward the optimal level. We speak specifically about today’s increase because of New Zealand’s favorable gross domestic product (GDP) increase.

Statistics New Zealand’s GDP is a measure of the entire value of all New Zealand-produced goods and services, which in this quarter exceeded the economist’s target and set at 17.3 percent. It is an indicator of New Zealand’s economic activity and health. A positive rating boosts the currency.

The graph above shows that there are support levels that not only keep it from dropping but actively strive to drive it forward. The first support assisted it at 0.6889, and soon after that, a horizontal support aid at 0.6804.

Conclusion

The NZD/USD currency pair is making a good journey towards progress, thus offering short- and medium-term investors an open invitation. And long-term investors also have the ground.
