The crypto exchange OKX has been active in recent times. The exchange has now declared its intention to start an a blockchain project named OKBChain. The company has disclosed that the launch of the new blockchain will be carried out within this quarter.
OKBChain Will Be Launched in 2023’s 1st Quarter, Says OKXChain Founder
After the release of the latest blockchain, it will operate autonomously and will not be dependent on the existing OKXChain. In this way, there will be a clear distinction between these 2 chains which both will be operated under OKX. Additionally, the functions of these chains will also be separate from each other. The crypto news reporter also referred to a Twitter post shared by Star Xu.
Star Xu, the person responsible for founding the crypto exchange, clarified on Twitter that the basis of the existing blockchain of the platform is the PoS chain. As per the founder, the present OKXChain is completely open. Apart from that, the chain is developed as well as run by communities.

On the other hand, the OKXChain founder elaborated on the blockchain (OKBChain) by noting that it will not be as same as the existing one. In his words, OKX will be responsible for developing as well as running the unique blockchain. Xu added that the platform is operating on releasing the advanced blockchain with the use of OKXChain. According to him, the ecosystem of the OKBChain will be completely decentralized.
