Review of FBS Markets Inc.

FBS is a forex broker that began its business in 2009. It is a brand managed by FBS market Inc. and operates from Belize. They have several offices in various Asian countries like China and Malaysia. It is important to note that even though FBS has been operational since 2009, it isn’t regulated in major countries considered as forex trading hubs. like USA, They are also not allowed to operate in some countries in like the United States and Russia. Here is a comprehensive review of the website.

Account types offered at FBS

FBS offers five different accounts:

  • Cent account – the cent account is best for beginners since it allows traders to gain forex experience with minimal risk. The minimum deposit is 1 USD and has a floating spread of 1 pip. It also allows beginners to use different strategies without any restriction.
  • Standard account – after gaining the needed experience, the beginner can move to the standard account. The standard account is mainly for the traders that have more experience and are willing to test out their strategies. The account mainly focuses on reducing risks, improving profits and a reduced floating spread. The minimum deposit is 100 USD.
  • Micro account – as for the micro account, initial deposits are from 5USD with a fixed spread of 3 pips.
  • Zero spread account – the zero spread account is suitable for the more serious traders. It has a minimum deposit of 50 USD and can be executed with no spread. This means that as a trader, you get to be more familiar with the market conditions and how these conditions affect trade. The commission on the account is 20 USD per lot.
  • Unlimited account – the unlimited account is a bit different since it is an STP account. As an STP, clients are able to execute trades without any delays or restrictions. You also get to enjoy some of the most competitive spreads available in the market currently.

Trading platforms

As an FBS client, you get to choose between two trading platforms: MT4 and MT5. MT4 is more popular FBS traders. MT4 is equipped with several advanced charting tools, technical indicators, and extensive back-testing environments a well as a variety of experts advisors. These tools allow traders to completely automate their trades. The MT4 platform is available on both the desktop and mobile devices. MT5 is less popular and has fewer features than its predecessor. There are plans however to improve the MT5 and make it more friendly by intruding better trading tools like the metaQuotes.

Deposits and withdrawals

FBS allows deposits in either EUR or USD or THB (official currency in Thailand) using all the most common modes of payment. Some of these payment modes include bank wire transfers, credit and debit cards, Skrill, Neteller, bitcoin, and PerfectMoney. The fee for bank wire transfer is 30 EUR while the minimum withdrawal amount is 1000 USD. The minimum withdrawal amount for the other modes is 1 USD. Withdrawal wait time depends on the payment option. For credit cards, the maximum wait time is 48 hours but for the other methods, the payment is instant.

Educational tools

There are a number of educational tools offered by FBS including trade calculator tools, market analysis tools and economic calendar. They, however, don’t have online tutorials, eBooks, webinars or videos which we think are handy especially for beginners. The company also has an FAQ page that contains useful information that helps traders have a successful trade.

Customer support

Regarding customer support service, FBS has a dedicated customer support team that is available through email, and phone. Their customer support service is available in various languages like English, Arabic, Chinese, Thai, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Indonesian.

Trust score

FBS forex broker appears to be a decent forex broker that has been operational for over 9 years. It offers favourable conditions of trade with a variety of accounts and several platforms. We think the site is good to trade with, only that you need to be conversant with their terms and conditions to avoid unnecessary delays in withdrawals.
