Securitize x Ripple Alliance Enables $RLUSD Transfers against $VBILL and $BUIDL
In partnership with Ripple, Securitize is endeavoring to offer exchange of $RLUSD for Treasury Fund, Ltd ($VBILL) of VanEck and USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund ($BUIDL) of BlackRock. The smart contract permits the $VBILL and $BUIDL holders to rapidly exchange shares for the stablecoin $RLUSD unlocking 24/7, stable transactions on-chain. Additionally, the investors get consistent $RLUSD exposure while maintaining their exposure to a wider DeFi strategy range and on-chain yield. This further drives interoperability, flexibility and utility for advanced tokenized assets.
While reflecting on this development, Ripple’s SVP of Stablecoins, Jack McDonald, stated that the availability of $RLUSD as an exchange option dealing with tokenized funds is a crucial development. The executive added that this move is the next step that allows the platform to connect crypto with conventional finance. As per him, $RLUSD efficiently caters to institutional use, providing real utility, stability, and regulatory clarity. Thus, amid the growing adoption, collaborations with dependable platforms such as Securitize are noteworthy in unlocking unique enterprise-level use cases and additional liquidity.
