Solana Foundation Implements a Software Upgrade and RPC Nodes Go Offline
The company noted that no effect was gone through by the block production. As per Solana, the network operates finely with no impact. As the latest test release 1.14 has encountered this issue, the consumers using any node on the test release are advised to leave it. They should move to 1.13 instead. The “Ethereum killer” Solana has remained successful in sustaining the losses witnessed in some of the previous months due to the bear market.
Those losses had also been partially caused by the platform’s links with the now-defunct FTX crypto exchange of Sam Bankman-Fried. However, the ecosystem has recently outcompeted other players like Tron and Shiba Inu by market valuation. At present, the native token of Solana (SOL) showing a good position, as per the data provided by CoinMarketCap. The current bullish trend elevated the price of the token by 0.9% in the regular timeframe.
This has caused another 36% jump in value in the previous week. Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently posted on Twitter that resourceful people are no more on Blockchain. In Buterin’s words, the platform currently has a great opportunity to progress further. The tweet signified that the industry of crypto assets is a field for s equal advancement, raising SOL price by 42% within 1 week.
Solana Attempts Recovering from Recent Losses
The Helium Network’s looming migration to the blockchain of Solana is also adding to the respective upward pressure. This would likely push further the price of the SOL token. The recent moves by Solana might only be a method to get distanced from the adverse vibes. Nevertheless, the developments might provide Solana a chance to recover from the losses resulting from its noteworthy exposure to the now-defunct crypto exchange FTX.
