Anchorage Digital Bank is issuing this stablecoin while Canto Fitzgerald is operating as its reserve custodian as well as primary dealer.

Tether Unveils Federally-Regulated $USAT Stablecoin Under GENIUS Act
Tether is unveiling its new USD-pegged and federally regulated $USAT stablecoin for the U.S. market under the GENIUS Act. The stablecoin will first offer services to the famous platforms like MoonPay, OKX, Kraken, Crypto.com, and Bybit. This launch indicates a key move for the digital dollar network of the United States, merging regulatory compliance and institutional-level infrastructure.
Apart from that, the $USAT’s launch underscores a key development for Tether as well as the wider U.S. financial sphere. In this respect, it delivers a dollar-pegged digital asset to the institutions via a nationally chartered banking entity. Unlike USDT, which drives global markets, $USAT particularly deals with the regulatory standards of the United States while integrating with the country’s cutting-edge infrastructure for digital payments.
Tether $USAT’s CEO and former White House Crypto Council Executive Director, Bo Hines, also commented on this launch, stressing the product’s role in driving compliance, transparency, and market stability. The launch takes place amid a rising global competition for the digitization of national currencies. Hence, dollar-backed stablecoins are already playing a crucial role in worldwide commerce while $USAT reaffirms the credibility and strength of the U.S. dollar.
Reinforcing Utility, Transparency, and Trust in U.S. to Set New Benchmarks
According to Tether, the new stablecoin shows the platform’s continuous efforts to bolster the worldwide digital economy. Specifically, $USAT attempts to handle the stringent compliance requirements in addition to functioning dependably at scale when it comes to institutional use. The regulated banking partners and exchanges in the U.S. are moving forward to advance wide access to USAT across the country. Moreover, Tether’s CEO, Paolo Ardoino, asserted that the product extends the platform’s goal of utility, transparency, and trust, now for the U.S. entities.
