TradingView, a charting and social network platform based in the United States, has secured a data-sharing partnership with Boursa Kuwait. The latter is the platform operating the Kuwait Stock Exchange. Through this partnership, TradingView plans to expand its presence in the region.
TradingView expands to MENA
The partnership between TradingView and Boursa Kuwait will enable the social network to make the data of its users available to the Kuwaiti capital market. The Chief Executive Officer of TradingView, Denis Globa, has applauded this partnership saying that it would expand its global presence.
Globa has also said that the charting firm wanted to bring the Kuwaiti capital market to a larger global audience. The firm plans to take advantage of the engagement with retail investors to achieve this purpose.
The CEO of Boursa Kuwait, Mohammad Saud Al-Osaimi, commented on this development saying that this partnership would increase the investor base at the stock exchange. Additionally, it would offer access to the Kuwaiti capital market and open it up to a larger investor base.
The executive further explained that “the partnership is in line with Boursa Kuwait’s efforts to provide data to investors and traders and supports its goal of developing an informative, transparent, and tool-rich exchange platform, capable of providing products and services efficiently for issuers and investors as well as improving the exchange’s standing regionally and worldwide.”
This partnership deal came more than three years after Boursa Kuwait ranked as the first government entity that was fully privatized. The company secured a listing on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in September 2020. Additionally, it has implemented several market reforms under the guidance of its comprehensive multi-phase market development plan.
TradingView achieves network growth
TradingView has emerged as one of the largest social network platforms globally. The charting platform has grown significantly in recent months because of its integration with multiple industry platforms. These platforms have been using TradingView to allow their users to access more services that will improve their trading experience.
Finanzen.net zero, a zero-commission broker based in Germany, integrated TradingView on its platform in mid-January. This integration made it possible for users to settle trades directly with TradingView. The seamless experience these traders get is instrumental in helping these platforms attract more users.
Finanzen.net zero is not the only broker seeking to bolster user experience through TradingView. Towards the end of 2022, some of the largest brokerage firms globally announced that they would integrate TradingView into their offerings. These firms include SpreadEx, FXOpen, and Tradesmarter.
FXOpen is one of the largest global brokerage platforms, and its integration with TradingView was a significant adoption sign for the social network. FXOpen has a solid global presence with offices in Australia, Cyprus, and the United Kingdom. TradingView emerged as the 4th platform in the suite of trading platforms available to FXOpen users. The other trading platforms supported by FXOpen are MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and TickTrader.
