TransDigm Group Inc (NYSE:TDG) Gave Strong Guidance

TransDigm Group Inc (NYSE:TDG) stock rose 3.20% (As on November 13, 12:23:36 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company forecast 2026 profit above Wall Street estimates after posting a better-than-expected profit for the fourth quarter, on strong demand for its aftermarket parts. Carriers, amid delays in aircraft deliveries, resort to replacing old airplane parts to maximize operational efficiency, driving up demand for TransDigm’s commercial aftermarket parts. Lisman, who took the helm at the beginning of October, added that the company expects continued growth in its commercial aftermarket and defense end markets, “where the overall trends remain quite positive.” The gross profit was $1.47 billion, up 16.9% from the year-ago quarter’s level of $1.26 billion. TDG’s interest expenses increased 22.4% year over year to $420 million. Net income rose 30.1% year over year to $609 million. Cash and cash equivalents as of Sept. 30, 2025 amounted to $2.81 billion, down from $6.26 billion recorded as of Sept. 30, 2024. Long-term debt as of Sept. 30, 2025 totaled $29.17 billion, up from $24.30 billion as of Sept. 30, 2024. Cash from operating activities amounted to $2.04 billion compared with $2.05 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025.

TDG in the fourth quarter of FY25 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of $10.82, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of $10.25, according to the Zacks Consensus Estimate. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 11.5 percent to $2.44 billion in the fourth quarter of FY25, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $2.41 billion. Organic sales, as a percentage of net sales, grew 10.8%.

Additionally, subsequent to the quarter, and as previously announced on October 6, 2025, TransDigm completed the acquisition of Simmonds Precision Products from RTX Corporation. Simmonds Precision Products is a leading global designer and manufacturer of fuel & proximity sensing and structural health monitoring solutions for the aerospace and defense end markets. During fiscal 2025, TransDigm repurchased approximately 400 thousand shares of its common stock at an average price per share of $1,247 for a total amount of approximately $0.5 billion. Subsequent to the quarter-end, in October 2025, TransDigm repurchased approximately 80 thousand shares of common stock at an average price of $1,250 per share for a total amount of approximately $0.1 billion.

The Cleveland, Ohio-based company now sees 2026 adjusted per share profit between $36.49 and $38.53, the midpoint of which is above analysts’ estimates of $36.71 per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
