UiPath Inc (NYSE:PATH) Gave Cautious Outlook

UiPath Inc (NYSE:PATH) stock fell 6.06% (As on March 12, 11:28:11 AM UTC-4, Source: Google Finance) after the company beat expectations on earnings and revenue in its latest financial results, doubled its profitability and offered solid guidance for the current quarter and full year, but it still wasn’t enough to satisfy investors. UiPath reported net income of $104.5 million in the quarter, rising from a profit of just $51.8 million in the year-ago period. The company also reported annual recurring revenue of $1.853 billion at the end of the quarter, up 11% from the same period last year. It delivered net new ARR of $70 million. For the quarter, Dollar based net retention rate was of 107 percent, Non-GAAP gross margin was 86 percent and Non-GAAP operating income was $150 million. The company generated Net cash flow from operations was $182 million and Non-GAAP adjusted free cash flow was $182 million. Cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities were $1.69 billion as of January 31, 2026.

Moreover, the company’s growth is evidence that enterprises increasingly need a platform that’s able to execute complex processes reliably at scale, with strong governance. PATH in the fourth quarter of FY26 has reported the adjusted earnings per share of 30 cents, beating the analysts’ estimates for the adjusted earnings per share of 25 cents. The company had reported the adjusted revenue growth of 14 percent to $481.1 million in the fourth quarter of FY26, beating the analysts’ estimates for revenue of $464.9 million.

For the current quarter, UiPath is forecasting revenue of between $395 million and $400 million, which compares favorably with the Street’s target of $393.4 million. For the first quarter fiscal 2027, UiPath expects ARR in the range of $1.894 billion to $1.899 billion as of April 30, 2026 and Non-GAAP operating income to be of approximately $80 million

For the full year, the company is forecasting sales in a range of $1.754 billion to $1.759 billion, ahead of the $1.74 billion consensus estimate. For the full year fiscal 2027, UiPath expects ARR in the range of $2.051 billion to $2.056 billion as of January 31, 2027 and Non-GAAP operating income to be of approximately $415 million.
