Stock market rising as the Fed cut interest-rate

U.S. stock market trades firmly higher today as investors continue to digest yesterday’s FOMC outcome. The Federal Reserve maintained its policy stance and reiterated that inflation progress remains uneven, but markets reacted positively as Chair Powell signaled no urgency to resume tightening. Equity indices extended gains, with the Dow Jones leading the advance. Risk sentiment is mildly bullish as traders position for year-end momentum.

DJIA surged higher today also reaching new record high, confirming renewed bullish momentum following the FOMC outcome. The index printed a strong bullish candle and is now pushing above the 0.272 Fibonacci level, with 161.8% Fibonacci extension level 49,340 as the next major upside level. The overall structure remains firmly bullish as long as price stays above the rising trend line and the EMA 100. A short-term pullback can occur, but sentiment now favors continuation toward new highs.

Alibaba Group Holdings (BABA)

BABA is trading slightly lower today, but price remains above the key demand zone (purple box) and is currently hovering near the SMA 100, which is acting as the main dynamic support. Despite recent weakness, the broader structure still leans neutral-to-bullish as long as price holds above $137.00–$148.00. Traders could use the box area as a place to enter long positions, or traders could also use the SMA 100 & 200 as the place to long.

A close below the daily SMA 200 might become the initial confirmation that the bullish trend has been over.
