Wall Street Rebounds Sharply as Tech Stocks Recover from AI Sell-Off
U.S. equities staged a strong rebound, recovering from the previous session’s heavy sell-off. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 391.94 points (+0.80%) to 49,196.00. The S&P 500 rose 54.48 points (+0.79%) to 6,891.93, while the Nasdaq outperformed, climbing 243.10 points (+1.07%) to 22,870.37.
The recovery was led by software and technology stocks, which bounced after recent pressure linked to AI disruption concerns. The move suggests that investors are reassessing the magnitude of yesterday’s risk-off reaction, with dip buyers stepping back into growth sectors. Despite the rebound, markets remain sensitive to tariff developments and broader macro uncertainty. Momentum has improved in the short term, but traders will watch whether this bounce develops into sustained continuation or remains a relief rally within a volatile environment.
Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)
DJIA index turned higher today after yesterday massive drop. The index seems recovering part of the losses and will wait for next direction. It might resume the downward movement and complete the bearish correction toward the trendline also the EMA 100. However, if the index manage to recover above 50,000 then the situation will turn bullish.
JPMorgan Chase (JPM)
JPM share prices is under pressure near the EMA 200 where a breakout could happen. We could see the share prices printing series of lower high and lower high. If bearish breakout happen, then the $280.00 level will become the target to watch. On the other hand, if the share prices could bounce from the EMA 200 and print new higher swing high then the situation will turn bullish.
