U.S. stocks recover from early selloff as buyers step in

U.S. equities opened under pressure, with all three major indexes slipping at the start of the session as traders reacted to political and policy-related headlines. However, selling interest faded quickly, allowing buyers to step back in and lift prices back toward the flat level, signaling that downside momentum remains limited for now. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and Nasdaq are now attempting to stabilize after the early dip, suggesting the market is entering a recovery and consolidation phase rather than a broad risk-off move.

Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)

DJIA index slightly lower today but maintain the position not far from the opening level. The consolidation is ongoing just below the 50,000 level. If there is no major change in the situation, we might see the index reach 50,000 soon. However, if the index close below 48,886 then a deeper bearish correction toward 48,000 or the trend line might happen.

Union Pacific Corporation (UNP)

UNP share prices is trading inside a triangle pattern and currently sit near the EMA 100 & 200. Traders could utilize the EMA and the lower trend line as place to add long positions with stop order below $215.00 or previous swing low. Assuming the pattern work out at the end of consolidation, we will see bullish breakout to target the record high. However, if the share prices closed below $215.00, then we are set for bearish leg.
