U.S stock futures are slightly lower
DJIA futures are slightly lower by nearly 100 points today. The bearish pressure happened but not a significant movement compared to this week’s movement. Under the current situation, the stock market will close the week on a positive and nearing a record high. Traders could expect the bullish movement to continue until next week’s FOMC meeting. If the Fed softens on the interest-rate policy then traders could expect a new record high in the stock market index.
Technical Analysis
Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)
The movement of the DJIA index is bullish, and it is not far from the record high. Traders could expect the index to climb and target a new record high. However, we might see a slight weakness today as the stock futures are trading lower. Despite the situation, traders will maintain a bullish outlook and use each bearish correction as a chance to accumulate more long positions.
Apple Inc (AAPL)
AAPL share prices are trading lower and near the daily SMA 200. If the share prices could produce strong bullish reactions near the averages, traders could enter long positions expecting the continuation of the bullish trend. However, if the share prices continue lower, close below the daily SMA 200, and print a new lower swing low then the trend might turn bearish.
